The Training Center’s Board of Trustees have been closely monitoring the evolving situation of COVID-19. For continued preparedness, The Board of Trustees have made the following decision effective today, May 18, 2021:
Apprenticeship Classes: The Training Center is actively working with the instructors to continue offering classes. In person curriculum instruction, testing and hands on labs for apprentices, with strict guidelines. No one enters the JATC office without a mask.
The Trustees and training center staff will be reassessing the situation on a weekly basis with this unprecedented situation we currently face.
Journeyman Continuing Education Classes: 2020 NEC Journeyman Continuing Education classes have begun. Please check the schedule on our website at www.pueblojatc.org or call the office if you have any questions. CE classes will be in person, limit six people, until further notice.
Applications, Aptitude Tests and Interviews: Applications are being accepted in person by appointment only, call the office at 719-561-8000 ext. 18 to schedule your appointment. Applicants can go to our website, www.pueblojatc.org, for application information. If you have questions please call the JATC office. No one enters the JATC office without a mask.
Our office will be closed to the general public, but training center staff are available by phone and email. The Health Authorities tell us that to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, we must:
- Wash hands frequently
- Heighten cleaning practices
- Avoid contact with sick people
- Stay away from work when ill, and do not travel to areas with high infection rates
- Group sizes are limited to 10 and groups must follow Social Distancing Requirements
